Warranty

Mon Acoustic Limited Warranty Policy

Effective Date: [01.01.2026]

Mon Acoustic loudspeakers are precision-engineered audio instruments manufactured to the highest standards of structural integrity and acoustic performance. We stand behind our craftsmanship and offer the following limited warranty.

1. Warranty Coverage

Mon Acoustic warrants its passive loudspeaker products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to products purchased from an authorized Mon Acoustic dealer, distributor, or directly from Mon Acoustic or its official sales channels.

The warranty period begins on the original retail purchase date, not the resale date of the 2nd or 3rd owner.

2. Second-Hand Purchases

This warranty is primarily extended to the original purchaser.

In the case of a second-hand purchase, warranty coverage remains valid only if:

  • The original proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is provided

  • The product is still within the original five-year warranty period calculated from the first purchase date

The warranty period does not reset upon resale.

3. What Is Covered

If a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed within the warranty period:

  • Repair will be provided free of charge

  • Replacement parts will be provided free of charge

  • Labor costs will be covered

  • Shipping costs (both directions) for approved warranty repairs will be covered by Mon Acoustic or its authorized distributor

Mon Acoustic reserves the right to repair or replace defective components at its discretion.

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused by impact, dropping, mishandling, or accidents

  • Damage caused by amplifier overpowering, clipping, distortion, or operation beyond rated specifications

  • Use with incompatible electronics or operation outside specified limits

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, finish wear) not affecting performance

  • Unauthorized modification, repair, or disassembly

  • Environmental damage (water, moisture, heat, sunlight, fire, lightning, flood, earthquake, etc.)

  • Damage caused during improper shipping or packaging by the customer

  • Removal or alteration of serial numbers

  • Normal wear and aging

  • Commercial, rental, or abnormal use unless agreed in writing

Amplifier clipping damage is not considered a manufacturing defect.

5. Cosmetic & Manufacturing Tolerances

Mon Acoustic loudspeakers utilize CNC-machined aluminum enclosures and precision finishing processes.

Due to the nature of aluminum machining, anodizing, and surface treatment, minor cosmetic variations may occur.

The following conditions are considered within normal manufacturing tolerances and are not covered under warranty or eligible for return:

  • Minor surface scratches or hairline marks

  • Subtle machining marks inherent to CNC processes

  • Slight anodizing or finish tone variations

  • Micro-level aesthetic imperfections not affecting performance

These characteristics do not constitute defects in materials or workmanship.

Mon Acoustic reserves the right to determine whether a reported issue falls within acceptable manufacturing tolerance.

6. Color Tone Variation Between Separately Purchased Units

Because aluminum finishing processes may vary between production batches, slight color tone differences may occur between products manufactured at different times.

If PlatiMon VC One and VC Two are purchased separately or from different production batches, minor finish tone differences may be present.

Such differences:

  • Are considered normal manufacturing characteristics

  • Do not affect acoustic or structural performance

  • Are not eligible for return, exchange, or warranty coverage

Customers seeking maximum visual consistency are advised to purchase matching components simultaneously from the same authorized dealer.

7. Non-Warranty Repairs

If inspection determines that the issue is not covered under warranty:

  • Labor and parts costs will be quoted after inspection

  • Final repair cost will be based on actual required parts and service time

  • Customer approval will be required before proceeding

  • All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer

8. Repair Procedure

  1. Contact your authorized dealer or distributor first.

  2. A Return Authorization (RA) must be issued before shipping.

  3. Proof of purchase is required.

  4. Products must be securely packed in original packaging or equivalent protection.

Mon Acoustic is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.

Warranty service may be limited to the original territory of purchase unless otherwise approved in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mon Acoustic shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, profit, or business interruption.

The sole remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of defective components.

This warranty does not affect statutory consumer rights under applicable laws.
